Water Sports

Tubing Morgan Humphreys Beaver LakeBeaver Lake is the perfect lake for all water sports. There are coves perfect for waterskiers and wakeboarders, along with a large main channel for tubers and jetskiers. Because the lake is rock-bottom, rather than mud or sand, the water is unbelievably clear, ideal for snorkeling. There are islands to beach your boat and camp, as well as sand beaches along the swimming areas.

Fishing

Camping

If you love day camping, swimming, and picnicing, there is a U.S. Corps of Engineers campground located right next to the Inn, Lost Bridge North Campground. It offers a large swimming area, paved parking spots, fire pits and grills, picnic tables, and electrical outlets. Water is available at many locations within the campground as well as showers and restrooms.

Hiking

Located within a mile from the Inn, the Lost Bridge Hiking Trail is one of moderate difficulty. It winds five miles through heavily wooded areas with scenic views, bluff overlooks, and sandstone and limestone outcroppings. Displays along the trail explain water ecology and the lifestyles of the rural families of the past.
